PG&E PowerPathway™ is now accepting applications to the Introduction to Energy and Utilities Careers for Women program at Tradeswomen Inc — a customized, 60 hour career prep course for women that will strengthen your candidacy for employment and add to your knowledge of the energy and utilities industry.

Get the training you need for a career in energy

Coursework includes an introduction to utilities and utility trades careers, strategies to overcoming obstacles to women in the trades, and soft skills training to effectively compete for entry-level field jobs.

Prepare yourself with the entry-level skills needed to be considered for job opportunities in a high growth industry:

  • Are you mechanically or technically inclined?
  • Do you like working with electronics and/or electrical equipment?
  • Are you interested in working outdoors in a physically demanding work environment?
  • Do you have construction-related skills?

To apply, complete the course interest form. The Introduction to Energy and Utilities Careers for Women program will be offered at Tradeswomen Inc., Oakland, CA, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from February 25 to May 1, 2013. Application deadline: January 18, 2013
